We strive to make your first visit to our office a comfortable experience. Our front desk will welcome you and ask you to complete our required forms if you have not yet done so. These forms give us important information about you and your condition. Dr. Schmidt will then spend some time talking with you about your condition to determine if chiropractic care is right for you. If so, certain treatments will be discussed. If chiropractic care is not the answer we will always refer you to the appropriate healthcare provider that can help.  As always, nothing will be done without your consent.

After discussing your condition, Dr. Schmidt will perform a thorough examination. This exam will include tests such as evaluating your ability to turn and bend, your reflexes, and other standard postural, neurological, orthopedic, and physical examinations. This important information will allow Dr. Schmidt to have a better understanding of your condition and how chiropractic can help you. If needed, Dr. Schmidt may order x-rays or refer you for other specific testing.

If an x-ray examination is indicated, it will be performed next using our state-of-the-art imaging equipment. This examination will give Dr. Schmidt a full evaluation of your condition.

After all examinations are complete, Dr. Schmidt will correlate the information and provide you with a report of findings and explain the treatment plan that is right for you.

Most patients will get relief from the very first adjustment! Chiropractic adjustments are gentle enough for kids yet will restore movement and function for the athlete and senior. Our office participates in many different insurance programs; we also work with auto insurance cases. We offer no obligation consultations and can help you directly with insurance forms. For patients with no insurance coverage a flexible payment plan can be approved.
